Saturday Night Dec 1st
Fourth Annual Victorian Kinky Christmas party
Open Play Party
Start Time: 8:00 PM

Fourth Annual Victorian Kinky Christmas party
SFCitadel 1277 Mission St
Sat December 1, 2007 8pm - 1 am
$20 ($5 discount if in Victorian garb or donating an ornament)
This is a very special Open Play Party, with Holiday and Victorian themes. Many of us will first spend the day at the Dickens Corset Faire, a reconstruction of Victorian London, as Charles Dickens saw it. Pay special attention to Mad Sal’s, the Dark Garden windows, and the Naughty French Postcards show (5:30?). See dickensfair.com for info on the Faire, but they know nothing of the kinky party. Then we’ll wear our holiday finest to the dungeon, and help decorate the Citadel’s tree. And we’ll recreate kinky scenes inspired by the repressed sexuality of Dickens’ time. Perhaps organize a game of “strip Whist”, or “kinky Wink”. Certainly some dominance and submission. Consider a nice caning, or an over-the-knee spanking. They don’t call it “the English vice” for nothing. Whether you celebrate Winter Solstice, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply the snow season, come enjoy decking the tree with colorful ornaments and other pretties. We'll whip that tree into shape, and Top it with a dominant symbol of the season.
Those who haven’t been to an event at SFCitadel should note that while this is a warm and safe environment, you’ll be exposed to people exploring some extreme erotic fantasies. This makes Postcards look quite tame. All genders and orientations welcome.
Fluid of Life: Blood Scenes
Heavy Warning Not for the Squeamish !!
Start Time: 1:00 PM

Fluid of Life: Blood Scenes
Join FifthAngel for a look into the erotic and spiritual art of releasing blood from the human body. We will begin with a safety talk on blood-borne pathogens and infection control. Then, FifthAngel will demonstrate how to perform simple capillary bleeding and progress to more invasive techniques such as arterial bloodletting. This is not a class based on Vampirism, and is not for the squeamish.

Saturday, Dec. 8th
1pm-3pm (doors open at 12:30pm)
Admission: $20 at the door

A martial artist, critical care nurse, and all-around sexual sadist, FifthAngel extracts various elements from his extensive background in martial arts, weapons and firearms training to help create some of the most emotionally and mentally challenging scenes known to BDSM. Adding the title of author to his hobbies, he has written two books, "The Finer Points of Pain and Pleasure," a how-to guide for using pressure points in BDSM scenes, and "Your Pain, My Pleasure: Inside the Mind of a Sexual Sadist."

Branded for playing on the edge, FifthAngel at times demonstrates sexual sadism in its purest sense - a sexual sadist does not enjoy seeing the bottom orgasm from pain. Rather, a sexual sadist is happy seeing the bottom NOT getting pleasure from the emotional or physical pain they are experiencing.

With a goal to educate others to deepen their emotional experiences through BDSM and rites of passage, he has expanded his teachings and demonstrations to include spiritual piercing and flesh hooks. FifthAngel remains an equal opportunity sadist and is always happy to work with volunteers among workshop attendees.

An edge player in all aspects of his life, he enjoys vertical rock and ice climbing as well as high altitude mountaineering.

He wrote books to make money too right????

YOU KNOW THAT YOU SPEND AT LEAST $6.00 "EVERY PAY
PERIOD" ON USELESS STUFF, ME TOO. SO I THOUGHT, WHAT THE HECK, I'M GOING TO TRY ONE OF THESE "SCAMS". NOW TO MY AMAZEMENT, I AM CHUCKLING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK WEEK AFTER WEEK WITH My PILES OF 1$ BILLS. I AM HAVING FUN AT THE SAME TIME AND WISHING THAT I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOONER! THIS IS LONG, SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT ALL NOW, JUST "COPY AND PASTE", IT IS
SOOO WORTH IT! DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, JUST TRY IT!
How to turn $6 into $6,000!
READING THIS COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE! SO JUST DO IT! This really works!
Hello, I’m like a lot of others out there who have
financial woes and I decided to try something new. If it works for me then I will be able to get myself out of a very difficult financial situation. Please read and see what results another got, it's pretty exciting!
It REALLY CAN MAKE YOU EASY MONEY!! IT WORKS!!!
BUT YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW IT TO THE LETTER FOR IT TO WORK!!!!
I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it. A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroups and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of dollars within weeks with
only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought,
"Yeah right, this must be a scam", but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and address stated in the article. You then place your own name and address in the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article in at least 200 newsgroups. (There are thousands)
No catch, that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first, I thought about trying it. I figured: "what have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right?" Then I invested the measly $6.00. Well GUESS WHAT!!... Within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the!! Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works.... Also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it. I promise you that if you follow the directions exactly, that you will start making more money than you thought possible by doing something
so easy!
Suggestion: Read this entire message carefully!
(Print it out or download it.)
Follow the simple directions and watch the money
come in! It's easy. It's legal. And, your investment is only $6.00 (Plus postage)
IMPORTANT: This is not indecent; it is not illegal; and it is virtually no risk - it really works!!!! If all of the following instructions are adhered to, you will receive extraordinary dividends. PLEASE NOTE: Please follow these directions EXACTLY, and $50,000 or more can be yours in 20 to 60 days. This program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants. Please continue its success by carefully adhering to the instructions. You will now become part of the Mail Order business.
In this business your product is not solid and tangible, it's a service. You are in the business of developing Mailing Lists. Many large corporations are happy to pay big bucks for quality lists. however, the money made from the mailing lists is secondary to the income, which is made from people like you and me asking to
be included in that list.
Here are the 3 easy steps to success:
STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper
"PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST."
Now get 6 US $1.00 bills and place ONE inside EACH of the 6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope (to prevent thievery). Next, place one paper in each of the 6 envelopes and seal them. You should now have 6 sealed envelopes, each with a piece of paper stating the above phrase, your name and address, and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a service. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! You are requesting a legitimate service and you are paying
for it! Like most of us I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal! Mail the 6 envelopes to the following addresses:
#1) D.Blakeman 7400 Glenleaf #179 Shreveport, LA 71129
#2) J.maxey 355 N. Manilla, Fresno, CA. 93727
#3) C. Lyons P.O. Box 69645 Los Angeles, CA. 90069-0645
#4) RJ K. Murpay 850 E. Walnut #173 Grapevine, Tx 76051
#5) Candice Messinger 5216 Old Powell rd. Holly Springs, NC 27540
#6) Tim DeMeerleer 105 N. Main st.Rear Kennett, MO 63857
STEP 2: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc.) and add YOUR Name as number 6 on the list.
STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups. (I think there are close to 24,000 groups)All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make!
This is perfectly legal! If you have any doubts, refer to Title 18 Sec. 1302 & 1341 of the Postal laws. Keep a copy of these steps for yourself and, whenever you need money, you can use it again, and again. PLEASE REMEMBER that this program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants and by their carefully adhering to the directions. Look at
it this way. If you are of integrity, the program will continue and the money that so many others have received will come your way.
NOTE: You may want to retain every name and address sent to you, either on a computer or hard copy and keep the notes people send you. This VERIFIES that you are truly providing a service.
(Also, it might be a good idea to wrap the $1 bill in dark paper to reduce the risk of mail theft.)
So, as each post is downloaded and the directions
carefully followed, six members will be reimbursed for their participation as a List Developer with one dollar each. Your name will move up the list geometrically so that when your
name reaches the #1 position you will be receiving thousands of dollars in CASH!!! What an opportunity for only $6.00 ($1.00 for each of the first six people listed above)
Send it now, add your own name to the list and you're in business!
---DIRECTIONS -----
FOR HOW TO POST TO NEWSGROUPS
Step 1) You do not need to re-type this entire letter to do your own posting. Simply put your cursor at the beginning of this letter and drag your cursor to the bottom of this document, and select 'copy' from the edit menu. This will copy the entire letter into the computer’s memory.

Step 2) Open a blank 'notepad' file and place your cursor at the top of the blank page. From the 'edit' menu select 'paste'. This will paste a copy of the letter into notepad so that you can
add your name to the list.
Step 3) Save your new notepad file as a .txt file. If you want to do your postings in different settings, you'll always have this file to go back to.
Step 4) Use Netscape or Internet explorer and try searching for various newsgroups (on-line forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions.)
Step 5) Visit these message boards and post this article as a new message by highlighting the text of this letter and selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the Subject, this will be the
header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a particular group, click the post message button. You're done with your first one!
Congratulations...THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post away, after you get the hang of it, it will take about 30 seconds for each newsgroup!
**REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU WILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO POST A MINIMUM OF 200**
That's it! You will begin receiving money from around the world within days! You may eventually want to rent a P.O.Box due to the large amount of mail you will receive. If you wish to stay anonymous, you can invent a name to use, as long as the postman will deliver it.
**JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT. **
HOW IT WORKS:
Out of 200 postings, say I receive only 5 replies (a very low example).
So then I made $5.00 with my name at #6 on the letter. Now, each of the 5 persons who just sent me $1.00 make the MINIMUM 200 postings, each with my name at #5 and only 5 persons respond to each of the original 5, that is another $25.00 for me, now those 25 each make 200 MINIMUM posts with my name at #4 and only 5 replies each, I will bring in an additional $125.00! Now, those 125 persons turn around and post the MINIMUM 200 with my name at #3 and only receive 5 replies each, I will make an additional $625.00! OK, now here is the fun part, each of those 625 persons post a MINIMUM 200 letters with my name at #2 and they each only receive 5 replies, that just made me $3,125.00!!! Those 3,125 persons will all deliver this message to 200 newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still 5 persons per 200 newsgroups react I will receive $15,625,00! With an original investment of only $6.00! AMAZING! When your name is no longer on the list, you just take the
latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another $6.00 to names on the list, putting your name at number 6 again. And start posting again. The thing to remember is: do you realize that thousands of people all over the world are
joining the Internet and reading these articles everyday? JUST LIKE YOU are now!! So, can you afford $6.00 and see if it really works?? I think so... People have said, "what if the plan is played out and no one sends you the money? So what! What are the chances of that happening when
there are tons of new honest users and new honest people who are joining the Internet and newsgroups everyday and are willing to give it a try? Estimates are at 20,000 to 50,000 new users, every day, with thousands of those joining the actual Internet. Remember, play FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will really work. God bless you!

thnx for sharing space ... please, be gentle, straightforward and thoughtful, if you're witty with me, too, I promise to be the same with all y'all ... I'm sometimes, clueless, just tap me on the shoulder, please ...
I'm a poet (which means, I tend toward efficiency of language & dramatic hues), I perform w/ a local troupe, am good eye-candy and bright ... I'm emotional, expressive, and somewhat empathic ...

Sorry, but I stumbled across this information and just had to share...

1] Pope Leo VII (936-9) died of a heart attack while having sex.

2] Pope John VII (955-64) was bludgeoned to death by the cuckolded husband of the woman he was having sex with at the time.

3] Pope John XIII (965-72) was also murdered by an irate husband during the act.

4] Pope Paul II (1467-71) allegedly died while being sodomized by a page boy.

So there you have it - four foxy popes!

to sustain interest throughout, to the very last page. "Reflections on the Novel" by the Marquis.

I have to admit I need the switch to move from hand to hand. Do you not see that reading the man may, actually do you some good?

For your kinks, turn the pages and let the last flick, lick your thoughts distressed, until the next blow falls. Please read at least a bit, as you might find, he fondles you better than most.

Tied to his thoughts I wonder at yours, simple animal that you are entrapped in thought base.
If I could chain you and beat you into reading, I would do it readily and willingly. If I could gouge your eyes with his words sharpened with the fecal filled intent in which you avoid them, I would.

But I can't my friends, I can merely beseech you to do this simple thing called reading, so as to enjoy this mans pain and thus find release.

Anyone, anyone at all? Hello!

Any suggestions? I had one that came out about 8 or ten years ago, cost $35 in hard back and was translated from French, but abridged. My ex took off with it and never gave it back. So, I need a new copy. . . or new biography.

The Mock Turtle, the Gryphon and Alice were discussing education:

"I only took the regular course."

"What was that?" inquired Alice.

"Reeling and Writhing, of course, to begin with," the Mock Turtle replied: "and then the different branches of Arithmetic-Ambition, Distraction, Uglification and Derision."

"I never heard of 'Uglification,'" Alice ventured to say. "What is it?"

The Gryphon lifted up both its paws in surprise. "Never heard of uglifying!" it exclaimed. "You know what to beautify is, I suppose?"

"Yes," said Alice doubtfully: "it means -to-make-anything-prettier."

"Well then," the Gryphon went on, "if you don't know what to uglify is, you ARE a simpleton."

The art of need in the human psyche.

My first brush with the Marquis was reading Justine from the Grove press editions back in the eighties. This still is a great set if any of you has yet to discover them. I found myself chuckling aloud at his stylistic waltz with words. After going again through the Anne Rice “Beauty” series recently, my mind kept dwelling on the fig leaves of word play in both works. There are many more examples in literature, but it is the ability of the Marquis to put himself out as an artist in time regardless of the consequence, which I most admire.

The process could indeed be viewed as selfish sadism on the part of the artist, to share with his victim, the reader, drawing the blood of imagination with quill. But I view it rather as the masochist need of the artist with the self. A dwelling, in bliss, I say not so much a physical as a mental probing laid down and thrown out through the centuries. What value then art, if not that of the artist? Point being, this validity as an artist cannot help but touch us today because of the human condition.

I’ve just finished the new book by Rodrigo Rey Rosa “The good cripple” who explores the self and the duality of need that I would like to recommend. The human psyche is indeed complex and can only fathom the artist from personal experience.

As for me though I feel the Marquis calling and nagging me to read and think again. Maybe trying to justify a good read deserves the lightening bolt of art.

“Well, let’s be off,” said the bawd, “ply those switches, spare not to strike hard.” from “The 120 Days of Sodom”.

Comments?

Cool tribe this.

I LOVE that movie!

In the interview with the director, he said he wanted the actress who played Juliet's lover to play Justine, that it would have been a much better film, that with the young, inexperienced girl the studio insisted on, he was limited to doing a kind of perverse "Alice in Wonderland", but that's exactly what I love about this film. The girl is so young & innocent looking! That's what makes the film so HOT, in my opinion.

I have the version with Koo Stark in my rental queue, and even though I think she's a very attractive woman, I bet I won't find the film nearly as hot.

Any thoughts from anyone on this, or on the film in general?

As an added note, I LOVE Jack Palance in this film! He's such a brilliant nut job! Not afraid to tak his performance WAY over the top!

_______________________________
APPLY FIST HERE
The Education of a Sadomasochist.

By Donna Larsen

Sometime this summer, in a high-rise condo looking out over the city, I will be given something I've been wanting for a long time: a black eye.

The man who will give it to me is complicated and beautiful, and beautiful in his complexity. He is confident but withdrawn, self-assured but not uncaring. And though he barely knows me, this doesn't stop him from beating me.

There is no logical reason for wanting a black eye. When he asks me why I want it, I want to turn it around on him, and ask him why he wants to give it to me. But I don't, because I don't know why I want it —and I don't think he knows why he wants to give it to me.

The craving came to me last summer. Where do you search for such a thing in this day and age? The internet, of course.

As much as some feminists bandy about the evil of men, finding one who will actually punch you in the face is harder than they'd imagine. Even at websites dedicated to introducing sadists to masochists, the sadists are amazingly tame. Most didn't just turn me down; they professed shock at my request. Then I found George.

For my previous partners, sadomasochism was just a game to be played when traditional sex lost its thrill. They separated themselves from the violence they wanted to inflict; they tried to be nice guys by asking ask me questions about my life. They equipped me with a "safe word" —that one word I could say if things got out of control or too painful.

Mixing sex and violence is not a game. For George, there is no safe word, only the door. Don't like what he's doing? Fucking leave. Everyone else was a one-nighter; George is the only man I've ever returned to. He is the definition of authenticity —he isn't playing a game, he's being himself. Which is refreshing. It takes the pressure off of me to be anything but myself.

George was born to dominate women. Blindfolded with a gag in my mouth, I kneel under the ladder he has set up in his living room. My breasts are tied obscenely tight; the rope that binds them has been thrown over the ladder and wrapped around my wrists. My arms are stretched out straight behind me. If I want to lower them to ease my burning muscles, it puts increased pressure on my chest; if I want to ease the pain in my breasts I have to increase the pressure on my arms.

As he watches me struggle from across the room, thoughts enter my head: He is such a genius, and I can't believe I'm so lucky. I must have won the sex lotto.

I'm probably not the only woman who ever met with him for the sole purpose of being beaten, but I am the first who didn't insist on a public meeting first.

The public meeting is a waste of time. Women want it so they can determine if the man is a psychopath. They don't understand that you can't tell that by sitting across from a guy, sipping coffee for 20 minutes. It gives you a false sense of security. Better to get directly down to business and find out firsthand if your partner is a psychopath.

Men want the public meeting to see if the woman is hot enough to strip and beat. In the back of their minds, they know that if she shows up, she's hot enough. No one gets turned down.

The first time I met George, I didn't get my black eye. In fact, I've seen him approximately 15 times in the last nine months —and still no black eye. I know it's in him, and he promised to give it to me soon. Is he afraid that once I have what I want, I'll disappear?

By all outward appearances I'm a normal, cheerful individual with a quick wit and a helping hand for my friends and neighbors. I keep a tidy home, and my husband and I have a wonderful relationship. I feel truly loved and cared about and understood in a way I never thought possible. No one would guess I've cheated on him eight or nine times in our two-and-a-half year marriage. Or that he knows about it.

More than once, I've had sex with a complete stranger while my husband was at work, and then told him when he got home. He's begged me to stop hurting myself, but being physically hurt is a major part of the sex I seek out. You see, my husband can't always turn me on. He's too nice; he's too gentle. Often, I'm only satisfied when there are tears in my eyes.

I've had violent sexual fantasies since I was seven or eight years old, and I've been fighting them for the past 10 years. I've seen therapists, taken medication. Nothing helps —the fantasies flood my mind and it's very hard to find a way out. My usual solution, masturbating to them, isn't considered "healthy."

I first became sexually "active" at four years of age. It never felt like abuse to me.

I know it's not normal for a four-year-old and a six-year-old to have a six-year sexual relationship, but that's what James and I had. He was the popular kid on the block, and when he kissed me behind the big tree in my backyard that first spring, I was exhilarated. Me —the object of James' attention!

Those kisses quickly turned to orders, which I obeyed: Take off your clothes, spread your legs, put your hand in my pants, bend over, show me, touch me, tell me. That led to me masturbating at such an early age that I don't even remember the first time I had an orgasm. I just know that I've always done it.

My parents were strict but fair, never abusive. They loved me but couldn't afford to spoil me. They dressed me well, fed me well and taught me to mind my manners. They installed in me a working-class ethic and a love for the struggling creatures of the earth. How were they to know the six-year-old across the street was a sexual predator who was shaping their daughter's sex life into a pretzel of fear, shame and pain that would last the rest of her life? They knew nothing, so I've never blamed them.

James had puppy-brown eyes, dark brown hair and an ego the size of Iowa. He was the kid everyone wanted on their team. He was athletic, confident and judgmental. He could stop anyone in mid-sentence with one look. In front of all the other kids, James treated me like anyone else. When he was particularly mean to me, I was convinced he was just showing off.

He was also cunning. Often he'd say, "Let's play house" and pick me as his wife. We'd head down to his basement or over to a junked car that littered the neighborhood, and do the dirty things. He'd tell me that I couldn't tell anyone or we would be in big trouble. It was then that I felt special, because he'd chosen me —and no one else. He never threatened me or forced me. He just told me and I did it. The only fear was the fear that it would stop.

I lived for those moments of taking my clothes off and putting them back on in various places, of laying over his lap and him spreading my legs while his hand was in his pants.

Once, I asked him if he wanted a girlfriend. "Yes," he answered. So I asked, "Who do you want it to be?" He then listed the five girls he had in mind —none of them me. I cried while he laughed at me.

I've always fantasized about being tortured and humiliated. When I was seven, I imagined that I had pubic hair and James was pulling the hairs out one at a time. I've also fantasized about spreading my legs and walking over a fire, burning my pussy. Often, I'd imagine being spanked in front of the neighborhood kids. I assume the sexual connection to spanking came from pulling my pants down for my parents and during my encounters with James. Sometimes, immediately after being spanked by my parents, I'd run to my room and masturbate.

I grew up in a small town in northern California where nothing scary ever happened. One night when I was 13 years old, I was walking through the mall parking lot, which was one block wide and two stories tall.

Suddenly, I noticed a man staring at me. I walked quickly to the staircase and started down just as he started up. I decided to ignore him and look the other way, but when we met in the middle he grabbed my left arm.

"Where you going now?" he asked.

He was stronger than me. My only escape was to fall. So I jumped down the stairs, crashing down the last few steps, my Walkman hitting the cement and sliding into the gutter. I let out a yell and looked up the stairs. He took a quick look around, then ran away.

I walked home and told no one, but thought of it for days. What if I had gone with him? What would he have done with me? Would we have had sex?

How exciting.

It was around this time that my fantasies turned to kidnap and rape, of being used and discarded. Imagining this felt so good that I thought it must be what I was made for.

When I was 15 I ran away to Berkeley. I had just enough money to get there, but none to get back. I arrived at noon, and by midnight was bored out of my mind and ready to go home.

I was sitting on the curb when a car pulled up.

"Need a lift?"

Sure, I said.

"How old are you?"

Eighteen, I told him.

"Get in."

He was middle-aged and balding, driving a station wagon with a baby seat in the back. He told me he was running away from home, too. His wife was a bitch, and did I want to go to a motel?

This is what I had been fantasizing about —having real sex again. I weighed the question carefully, then decided I didn't want to go to a motel with this guy.

Instead, he drove me the 30 miles home, making that awkward small talk between adults and teenagers. I didn't want him to know where I lived, so I told him to turn into a parking lot, where he said he deserved a reward for bringing me home.

"Why don't you blow me?"

I just wanted to go home.

"Fuck. You're at least going to watch while I jerk off."

He pulled his pants down and I saw my first adult cock. As he masturbated, I started to cry.

"Isn't it big? Don't you want to taste it?"

He took my hand and rubbed himself until he came. I wiped off on his pants and jumped out of the car.

Not long after my 21st birthday, I went shopping for pornography. I paid special attention to the spanking section while trying to appear that I wasn't paying special attention to the spanking section. This is how I came to have my first adult sexual experience.

He was a city planner —bald and seemingly old, but probably only 30 or so. He'd seen me inside the store, and caught up with me outside.

"Do you want to go to a hotel?"

I asked what we would do.

"What do you want to do?"

Spanking.

"We'll do whatever you want."

I followed him to a nearby chain hotel. He paid for the room and, once inside, asked if I'd mind showering. He liked "really clean" women. Though I was insulted, the thought of getting spanked was foremost on my mind. I showered quickly and put a towel around me.

When I came back into the room, I noticed my little city worker had been busy. He'd undergone a transformation, and what a lovely woman he made.

"What do you think?"

I was thinking a lot of things, none of which I told him at the time. I've always been open-minded; people should be encouraged to do whatever they want so long as it doesn't hurt anyone. I don't remember exactly what I said, but I did give him positive feedback. I didn't want him to feel bad —I understood what it was like to be seized by the balls by a fetish.

I also understood that this was all about him. It was his game, his rules —his fantasy, not mine. I was disappointed, to say the least. We fooled around, I sucked his dick, he spanked me with light taps I could barely feel. And it was over.

The progression of my sexual fantasies was slow and steady. There was a time when I couldn't concentrate on anything but spanking. The more I used that as my tool, the less effective it became. I also never have the same fantasy twice. It could be the same situation, but different things will happen and I'll come up with alternative ideas of torture throughout.

I once saw a documentary about a woman war photojournalist who said she couldn't stand to take pictures of flowers and happy things. Her subject matter must be bleak and painful. So are the days of my sex life.

One day I read a story in the newspaper about a man with a problem similar to mine. He had a fantasy life that overtook his own. He was a prisoner to sexual fantasies that he neither asked for nor had the ability to control. His name was Jeffrey Dahmer.

Dahmer was a necrophiliac, a cannibal, a pedophile and a murderer. As young as eight, he was already planning to beat a local jogger. When he found a dead dog, he didn't bury it; he cut off its head and stuck it on a pole.

"At last," I thought, "someone who could understand me."

On the one hand, here was a man controlled by fantasies beyond his control —just like me. On the other hand, here was a murderer.

In simplified terms, the legal definition of insane is not understanding right from wrong. To me, that should make one legally stupid. My definition of insane is not being able to control oneself. Dahmer couldn't stop himself from killing. If you choose to believe his statements before, during and after trial, he wanted to stop.

This is my dilemma. I have strong sexual urges that lead me to actions I later regret. More than regret: I hate myself for them.

My encounters with George can be rather violent. I'm not always sexually aroused during the acts, which is hard to explain. Think of my time with him as creating future fantasy material. Since my violent fantasies lose their effectiveness when they go unrealized, I need to make more.

Before George, I never fantasized about a man whom I actually knew. I could never picture anyone doing the violent things I wanted. But I can fantasize about George because I know I'll see him again, and I know he'll do all the things I crave. He particularly enjoys torturing my breasts, and is an expert at tying and flogging them. Bruises are the norm; some last for weeks. Most of the time, he keeps me blindfolded, which is especially exciting. I can't tell what he's hitting me with, and afterwards I lie in bed trying to picture what really happened.

I'm atypical of women who are interested in sadomasochistic sex. For one, fear is of paramount importance to me. If I'm not afraid, then there's no feeling. I genuinely fear George on many different levels. If I didn't, I wouldn't see him anymore. Most other women want to feel wanted —"He wants me so much he'd tie me up and rape me" —while for me it's about being protected.

Like most females, on some level I'm very concerned about my safety. Maybe that's why I'm attracted to the baddest motherfucker around, the one who will slap me around, yes, but also kill anyone who touches me. It sounds strange, but I feel safe with George —even though I'm afraid of him. I'm not afraid of anything else when I'm with him, which is unusual for me. My time with him also normalizes my feelings about my own sexuality, because he's at least as twisted as I am. Perversity loves company.

Mostly, I feel sympathy for George. Some will read this and perhaps feel sorry for me. They'll feel sorry for a young woman ensnared in a spider's web of sexuality. I am a victim, they might say. I need help. I need loving and caring and support and self-esteem and many other things that they think I need.

Though we are two sides of the same coin, there will be no sympathy for George. I often wonder how he reconciles this. How does he feel about himself, about how he copes with his urges? I ache to reach out to him, to reach into him, to taste the darkness he keeps inside, but he will not allow it. He only gives himself to me in the form of bruises.

With each bruise, I know him a little better.

Howdy!

I'm putting together a tribe for those who might wish to explore edgier, politically incorrect and verboten-esque stuff.

My hope is that, one day, we'll be able to create space that allows those of us who play within the slippery dark corners of our psyche to be able to do so to out heart's content.

QUILLS

I noticed in an earlier discussion that some of you think that Quills is fact based. It is pure speculation, like Marat/Sade or Immortal Beloved...actual places and characters, but fiction. The stories on Quills are fabrications emulating the Master, by a fan. I think he did a damned fine job, as did the participants...I've seen the play Quills as well, and there is a scene of pure satanic beauty that they left out of the film...as the young priest is ravishing the dead girl, the Marquis appears behind a transparent curtain in a dark room. He is naked and crucified and intones the priest's name in a low rumbling chant! Ahhh, loveliness.

I just joined this list, looks kinda dead...I have been a fan of the Divine Marquis since high school when I stumbled across a copy of the Crimes of Passion in a used bookstore...a while before the internet, mind you, so like minded individuals were a bit hard to come by!

The best biographical depictions in my opinion are the french puppet movie MARQUIS and Derek Jacobi's in Marat / Sade, for they show him a more humanist appraoch rather than monstrous.
I stumbled on some awful vintage s&m porn a while back that made me cry it was so horrendous. Blissfully I've forgotten the title, but it was from the 70's.

pain in public-your story?

OK...who's gone beyond talking trash on tribe and done somthing epicly hot? Below is one of my favorite memories.

I had this ex once, HOT little red head and damn was she nasty (in a good way). Well...there we were, bored at a swing party because the crowd was just not that interesting. It was slowing down and there were random couples fucking here and there but everyone was deep into their own thing.

So I tied her face-in to a St. andrews cross leaned against the corner, lifted her schoolgirl skirt and slowy, methodically, and thoroughly spanked her pale skin bright pink. She was crying out and writhing and her little bald pussy was dripping by the time I was done. When she was all spanked out, I kneeled under her on the cross, (facing the room and doing a back bend under her) to eat her to a screaming orgasm with my tounge ring while pushing my fingers into her ass to rub her g-spot. It was fucking hot. I was so focused on us that when I stood up I was surprised to realize that everyone in three rooms had stopped fucking and packed in to watch. We got applause. Yum.

What have you done?

Well mannered, bright, good conversationalist, creative/artistic, an elitist; downright food/entertainment/fashion snob, “smart ”sense of fashion/make-up, no trendy fashion victim, loves dress up for every occasion. For you PC means Pretty Cute!
Master never has to be shown the way! Something Master knows others don ’t is how much of a very, VERY dirty, nasty slave/girl you are! There is an immediate comfortableness and openness to the most dirty things you desperately need because He ’s a knowing, trustworthy loving Master/Daddy, helping you with the shame of regressing, letting go to being utterly humiliated into the lowest filthy gutter. Only then you can achieve the euphoric feelings you crave, need. Then after Daddy will clean you up and restore you back to the beautiful girl you are. The lower you go the higher HE can raise you back up!
you love restraint, harshness, intensity that comes w/ that dynamic between Master/slave. It ’s the taste, need, for bittersweet humiliation, degradation/shame... every part of your brain saying NO! the rest of your body not in agreement, blushing, in tears, your heart, body swelling, mind pounding ….. ”i don't want this... i need this... the worse it gets the better it gets, the shame is pleasure is shame... ”, That merciless circle that must be satisfied; the release is the paradox! you relish loving comfort and nurturing afterward, the closure of being restored from your total reduction. The ring completed.
your submission is not a “gift ”, it ’s your essence! This isn ’t about “protocols ”, “science fiction ”, “playing ”, “safe ”words, it ‘s about being allowed to become your authentic self. It ’s about being loved for who you are. The motivation is to love and be loved. It ’s the Natural Order of Things; TPE. For you THIS is the ULTIMATE protection, Master/Father/slave/daughter, that deep natural loving connection because it ’s unconditional.

Daddy knows you really are shy, submissive, want to be told what to do, a home-body. There is still an innocence, purity in you.
Allowed to move in and out of both personas.Whether you ’re spanked, given your “special ”bottle, restrained, flogged, the unconditional tender loving care, guidance and teaching is always there between Daddy and lil girl, loving and spiritual, always there between the need to obey and the care and betterment of your Master. you NEED to be Owned.
you may mail Me :-)

Enjoy your wonder-filled day

What Sade wrote in his epic stories.........?

Was he a witness of those orgies and debauches?

Was he a part of the secret sex society?

Did he partake in the killing of his sex objects?

Was he molested as a child?

Did he have sex with children?

Was the high society so corrupt, as described in his books?

Is that's why he was persecuted, and feared?

Did he reveal more then he was allowed to?

Or was it all a fantasy in his head, infused by drugs and alcohol?

Who knows?

It may be one way or the other, but never seize to make us wonder and think on what his stories represent, and how very actual they are even in this day and age.

For centuries a woman's sensuality has been repressed, and it's still is...

I was always impressed with the insight Marquis gave on the psychology of a female...
He thought that a woman is more sensual naturally, and she is more sensitive in mind as well. Woman's "appetites" are far greater than that of a man's and she can achieve more imaginative schemes in the art of love...
but my point is - that a proof of this words is the fact that 90% of the people who joined this tribe are females.
Deep inside - women always have a longing for a deeper sensuality, a sensuality without borders.

I am very pleased with the sight of so many "Sade hungry" girls out there.
Be free!

Happy Birthday to THE Marquis de Sade!!! June 2, 1740

Man Ray's Marquis: <center> <img src=" http://www.callisto.si.usherb.ca:8080/hm10/cd/auteurs/sade/marquis.jpg">

The Marquis de Sade is often depicted as an evil deviant, but judged in the context of his society his offences are less clear. Pre-Revolutionary France was decadent in the extreme and the upper classes used and abused the peasant population – a common motto of nobility was 'Plaisir a tout prix', meaning 'Pleasure at any price'. So was de Sade truly a monster, or simply a product of his time? Perhaps we'll never know for sure. ............................... (taken from perhaps the best of the sites I found regarding de Sade: http://www.channel4.com/history/microsites/M/masters_darkness/desade.html
*****************************************************************************************
Surrealism: echoes of de Sade?

The Marquis de Sade may have been imprisoned and treated as a pornographer of perverse cruelty in his lifetime, but now he is a cultural icon, an inspiration to artists and writers, especially the surrealists. But his image underwent several changes after his death.

In 1834, the word sadism (meaning pleasure derived from hurting or humiliating others) made it into the dictionary. In the same year, an article appeared in the Revue de Paris condemnins de Sade and his work. But while many saw de Sade as a corrupting influence, others were beginning to see him as a rebel against bourgeois respectability.

By 1843, an article in Revue des Deux Mondes by the critic Charles Augustin Sainte-Beauve suggested that Sade as well as the poet Byron were the two greatest inspirations of the modern era. By 1909, Guillaume Apollinaire, a painter, poet and forerunner of the surrealist art movement, claimed de Sade had had the 'finest mind' in the world.

In the aftermath of the First World War, leaders of the surrealists, such as André Breton, wanted to outrage bourgeois society and they chose de Sade as their emblem. No longer was he perverse or cruel, but he had become a symbol for revolution in art and literature. Surrealist poet Paul Éluard wrote that Sade 'wished to give back to civilised man the force of his primitive instincts and to liberate the amorous imagination from its fixations'.

By the 1960s, de Sade's image changed yet again: this time, he was adopted as an icon of sexual liberation. Today's surreal S&M scene makes an unconscious nod in his direction. Despite these changing interpretations, many people who condemn or revere him have probably not read his work. His novels still push at the boundaries of taste – to read him, it helps to have a strong stomach and a surreal sense of humour.

Sade, Donatien Alphonse François, comte de
Related: French Literature Biographies

(dônäsyãN´ älfôNs´ fräNswä´ kôNt de säd) , 1740-1814, French writer and libertine. He is known as the marquis de Sade —the title he held before becoming count on his father's death (1767). Famous for his licentious prose narratives, he also wrote many essays, antireligious pamphlets, and plays. He fought in the Seven Years War, and after his marriage in 1763 he pursued a life of pleasure and was imprisoned for his scandalous conduct. Charged with numerous sexual offenses, he spent a total of 27 years of confinement in such institutions as the Bastille, the dungeon at Vincennes, and Charenton asylum. During this time he wrote such ribald classics as Justine; ou, Les Malheurs de la vertu (1791), La Philosophie dans le boudoir (1793), and Histoire de Juliette; ou, Les Prosperités du vice (6 vol., 1797). Released for a time during the French Revolution, he succeeded in having some plays produced by the Comédie Française, and during his final confinement at Charenton he directed theatrical performances by the inmates. De Sade brought to light the controversial theory that since both sexual deviation and criminal acts exist in nature, they are therefore natural. This was in violent opposition to the spirit of his times but made him a precursor of modern psychological thought. The sexual aberration in which cruelty is inflicted in order to attain sexual release is termed sadism after him. Generally banned for obscenity, de Sade's works were almost all published in expurgated or unofficial editions. The complete works, edited by Gilbert Lély, appeared in 1966-68 (8 vol.).
****************************************************
Marquis de Sade
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Donatien-Alphonse-François de Sade, better known as the Marquis de Sade (June 2, 1740 - December 2, 1814) was a French aristocrat and author of several pornographic books, many of them written while in prison. His name is the source of the word sadism.

Sade was born in the Condé palace in Paris. Initially he followed a military career and participated in the Seven Years' War. In 1763 he married Renée-Pelagie de Montreuil, daughter of a rich magistrate; he would eventually have three children with her.

Shortly after his wedding, he began living a scandalous libertine existence and repeatedly abused young prostitutes and employees of both sexes, later also with help of his wife. He had an affair with his wife's sister. A series of scandals and imprisonments followed. He was sentenced to death in 1772 but reprieved. The mother of his wife obtained a lettre de cachet, and in 1777 he was imprisoned again, in the dungeon of Vincennes. There he met the fellow prisoner Comte de Mirabeau who also wrote erotic works; nevertheless, the two disliked each other intensely. In 1784, after an escape attempt, de Sade was transferred to the Bastille in Paris.

On July 2 1789, he reportedly shouted out of his cell to the crowd outside, "They are killing the prisoners here!", causing somewhat of a riot. He was transferred to the insane asylum at Charenton two days later. (The storming of the Bastille, marking the beginning of the French Revolution, happened on July 14.) He was released from Charenton in 1790 and his wife obtained a divorce soon after.

He had started to write in prison. In 1782 he completed Dialogue Between a Priest and a Dying Man, expressing his atheism by having the dying libertine convince the priest of the mistakes of a pious life. The novel The 120 Days of Sodom was written in 1785 and describes a wide variety of sexual perversions performed on a group of enslaved teenagers. In 1787, he wrote Les Infortunes de la vertu, an early version of Justine which was published in 1791. It describes the misfortunes of a girl who continues to believe in the goodness of God despite evidence to the contrary. In Aline and Valcour (1795) he contrasts a brutal African kingdom with a utopian island paradise. Other works are Philosophy in the Boudoir (1795), Juliette (1798), and Crimes of Love (1800) as well as a number of plays.

De Sade's works contain explicit and often repetitive descriptions of rape and a great number of sexual perversions, many of which involve violence and transcend the boundaries of the possible. He disdained the church and argued for atheism and for the rejection of all moral and ethical rules, pleasure being the highest principle.

During his time of freedom (beginning 1790), he met Marie-Constance Quesnet, a working-class single mother; they would stay together for the rest of his life. He initially arranged himself with the new political situation after the revolution and even managed to obtain several official positions despite his aristocratic background. Sitting in court, when the family of his former wife came before him, he treated them favorably, even though they had schemed to have him imprisoned years earlier. By now extremely obese, he was even elected to the National Convention, where he represented the far left.

Appalled by the Reign of Terror in 1793, he nevertheless wrote an admiring eulogy for Jean-Paul Marat to secure his position. Then he resigned his posts, was accused of "moderatism", imprisoned for over a year, and barely escaped the guillotine. Presumably, this confirmed his life-long detestation of state tyranny and especially of the death penalty. Now all but destitute, he wrote the pamphlet Frenchmen! One More Effort If You Wish To Be Republicans! in which he advocated a utopian form of socialism. In it he states that laws against theft are absurd: they protect the original thieves, the wealthy, against the poor who have no option left but theft. He also argues that the state has no right to outlaw murder, while at the same time ordering killings when executing prisoners or fighting wars.

In 1801, Napoleon Bonaparte ordered the anonymous author of Justine and Juliette to be arrested. Without trial, de Sade was imprisoned in the harsh fortress of Bicetre. After intervention by his family, he was declared insane in 1803 and transferred again to the asylum at Charenton.

Constance was allowed to live with him there. The liberal director of Charenton, Abbe de Coulmier allowed and encouraged him to stage several of his plays with the inmates as actors, to be viewed by the Parisian public. The play by Peter Weiss titled The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat, as performed by the inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the direction of the Marquis de Sade is a fictional account of this period. Coulmier's novel approaches to psychotherapy attracted much opposition.

De Sade began an affair with twelve-year-old Madeleine Leclerc at Charenton. This affair lasted some 4 years, until de Sade died in the asylum in 1814. His eldest son had all his remaining unpublished manuscripts burned; this included the immense multi-volume work Les Journees de Florbelle. De Sade was buried in Charenton; his skull was later removed from the grave for scientific investigations.

Simone de Beauvoir and other writers have later attempted to locate traces of a radical freedom philosophy in de Sade's writings, preceding that of existentialism by some 150 years. The surrealists admired him as one of their precursors, and Guillaume Apollinaire called him "the freest spirit that has yet existed".
****************************************************

Films
Perhaps unsurprisingly, de Sade's life and writings have proved irresistible to filmmakers. While there are surely an uncountable number of pornographic films based on his themes, here are some of the more mainstream movies based on his history or his works of fiction:

Marat/Sade, a film of the Peter Weiss play (1966)
Justine and Juliet, aka Marquis de Sade: Justine (1968)

Sade vs.Christ

Who would you follow, given a chance?

It's not a secret, that Sade was a hater of Christianity, or any self depriving religion , for that matter....
he was absolutely right at how the Christian church tried to control everything and everybody, and in their hypocrisy performing vile acts at the same time.
Is it a fault of Christ, or people who do his work in his name?
It does not matter, for he was never there to stop them...

Does Christ forbids a sexual pleasure?

It seems so...

What makes me very interested, is how the people give up their life basically, for hopes of a reward in paradise...and in a way it's very masochistic...their "sacrifice"......how the monks used to flog themselves, and make themselves feel uncomfortable....

So basically, Christ put aside, it is more wondrous to see the human relations with each other, over the course of a centuries, when it comes to their believes....

And Sade, with religion of his own, gave people a chance at opening their eyes, and embracing their sexuality, for it's a fact that humans are of the animal species and not some kind of robots, or out of this earth entities...

Do you want to have some?

I had a few dreams, in which I've done it.

I read somewhere that it's actually a common occurrence...

De Sade often used Demons in his novels...
His sex fantasies were dark and on the verge of supernatural...

I have many supernatural encounters....

I read the book first and had high expectations for the movie...what a let-down. I love Passolini but the movie reeked! The book is so eloquent and the movie is a visual let-down.

Hello, all. I am a new member to the Trbie, and I write gay erotica, sexual realism is what I call it. Anyway, I am trying to do my homework and be mindful of where it all started.

That said, gasp, I have never read anything by the Marquis De Sade, so I am looking for suggestions. Mind you, I am in the process of writing a dissertation, so I cannot afford much time or money for that matter, but what piece of writing should I start with? What collection of his writings would you recommend?

Thanks-Decker

While living in fear for his life and being nearly executed numerous times he still kept writing while on the run! Even in his 14 year prison sentance he kept writing till his death. That is curage and a love for what you do. Mme Quesnet didn't hurt matters either.
